Pocketwise is operated by Glenn Mason (ABN: 87 345 586 127), trading as Pocketwise. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
At purchase: Your name and email address are collected by Stripe when you buy a product. We also collect your response to the optional "What's your main area of freelancing?" question. We do not store your credit card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe.
On our website: Vercel Analytics collects anonymised page view data (no personal information, no cookies). We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking.
Email: If you join our waitlist or contact us, we store your email address to respond and send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We use your email address to deliver your purchased product and send you updates about Pocketwise — including when new products launch. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Stripe — processes payments and stores payment information. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Resend — used to send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, download links). Subject to Resend's privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Vercel — hosts the website and provides anonymised analytics. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@pocketwise.com.au.
We retain purchase records for seven years as required for Australian tax purposes. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
